Grayson College Welcomes New Director of the Center for Workplace Learning

Grayson College is pleased to announce Marcus Freeman as the new Director of the Center for Workplace Learning (CWL). A leader with a passion for developing others, Freeman brings experience in workforce training, adult education, and strategic partnership building.

“Marcus Freeman is a proven leader who understands the vital connection between workforce development and student success,” Dr. Jeremy McMillen, Grayson College President said. “His deep commitment to building strong community partnerships and empowering others makes him a great fit to lead the Center for Workplace Learning.”

Freeman earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. From 2019 through 2024, he served as Assistant Director of the Adult Education and Literacy Program at Grayson College, overseeing programming in Collin County.

In the Director role, Freeman will work closely with business and industry partners to expand training opportunities and support the mission of the Center for Workplace Learning.

Outside of work, Freeman enjoys spending quality time with family. He shares life with spouse Faith and their children Marcus Jr., Brooke, and Ivy.
