About

Our vision is for students to CONNECT with our tutors, COMMIT to their growth as learners, and successfully COMPLETE their math-intensive courses at Grayson College.

The Math Hub provides students with the tools and support needed to achieve their goals.

  • We offer an encouraging environment where students can freely experiment, ask questions, and receive constructive feedback without fear of judgment.
  • We have knowledgeable and supportive staff.
  • We see students growing in confidence and achieving success in their collegiate and professional goals.

Located on the Denison Campus in the Student Success Center in room SS-200 and on the South Campus in room SCM-112, the Math Hub provides students with assistance with any level of math instruction. It's a great place to work on your homework and to prepare for tests that involve math.

The Grayson College Math Hub is a quiet, supportive space where students can receive assistance. To support students in their goals, our trained staff act as an attentive and responsive audience to provide feedback at any stage of the learning process for any discipline. The Math Hub is also equipped with computers for students to use as they work on their assignments, in their Canvas platform, or achieve math proficiency goals. Our goal is to lead students to do the work. Students seeking one-on-one tutoring should visit the Math Hub to sign up for a weekly, one-hour timeslot.

Appointments

No Appointments are needed. The Math Hub works on a drop-in basis, and students do not need to sign up for a specific tutor. Students check in when they arrive in the Math Hub. Tutor availability can be checked through Penji through the link in Canvas labeled "Schedule a Grayson Tutor." You can also go directly to the Penji website for information.
