Student Success is our business!
The Science Hub is an open invitation to come study and interact with like-minded students and get extra help from our peer tutors. We have created a welcoming environment, providing models used in our courses as well as textbooks and other visual resources to help our students engage with the concepts covered in the Life and Physical Science courses they take at Grayson College.
We have peer tutors who assist, and faculty are also on hand to assist if necessary.
Hours and Location
The Science Hub is currently located in the Science Building, second floor, room 203. It is open as long as the building remains open, which is generally 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There are also science tutors available at the Van Alstyne campus, room SCM-112.
Appointments
Scheduling is done through “Upswing,” which can be accessed through Peer Tutoring or through your Canvas shells. The tutors have some flexibility and are available for “walk-ins”. Scheduling an appointment helps them manage their time.
