Grayson College is pleased to announce the appointment of Jayce Randolph as the College’s new Director of Recruiting and Admissions. In his new role, Randolph will lead recruiting and admissions efforts, helping strengthen the experience for prospective students, build relationships with area schools and community partners and create clear pathways for students to begin their journey at Grayson College.

Randolph brings seven years of experience at Grayson College to the position, with a background in admissions, housing and advising. Most recently, he served as the Adult Promise Coordinator, where he developed and implemented recruitment strategies focused on removing barriers and creating greater access to higher education for adult students.

“Jayce understands that recruiting and admissions are about much more than helping a student complete an application, they are about creating a welcoming first experience and helping students see a path toward their goals,” said Logan Maxwell, Vice President of Student Services. “His experience across multiple areas of Student Services has given him a unique understanding of the student journey, and he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to removing barriers and connecting students with the resources and opportunities they need to be successful.”

As Adult Promise Coordinator, Randolph oversaw Grayson College’s $250,000 Trellis Adult Promise grant and worked with community partners, including Texoma Medical Center and local independent school districts, to establish partnerships supporting adult student enrollment and workforce opportunities.

Randolph also served as Interim Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruiting, gaining additional leadership experience within the department. During that time, he implemented Grayson College’s process for awarding Credit for Prior Learning and helped coordinate key recruitment events, including Senior Day, One-and-Done and Promise events.

Before moving to the Adult Promise role, Randolph was a Success Coach, where he advised and enrolled students, conducted degree audits, worked with faculty on curriculum requirements and served as the College’s transfer advisor. He also assisted the Admissions team with visits to area high schools, helping prospective students learn more about Grayson College and complete the enrollment process.

Randolph began his career at Grayson College as a Housing Supervisor, where he supervised resident assistants, supported student life initiatives and helped create an environment that valued and supported students. He later transitioned into a College Recruiter, building relationships with area high schools, students, counselors and teachers while helping prospective students connect with Grayson College and its resources.

Randolph is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas State University.

Grayson College is pleased to welcome Jayce Randolph into this leadership role as he continues his commitment to creating opportunities and supporting students throughout their educational journey.
