Graduation Application and Commencement Ceremony RSVP

The Fall Graduation Application and RSVP period has now closed as of October 5th, 2026. We will not be accepting any furtther applications.

If you submitted your application before the deadline, please stay tuned for upcoming communications regarding the Fall Graduation Ceremony. Additional details will be shared in the coming weeks.

The Spring Graduation Application and RSVP will open in Myviking on January 4th, 2027. To ensure on time processing and participation in the Graduation Ceremony, please be sure to submit your application through Myviking by March 8th, 2027.

Important Information:

Applicants will receive emails throughout the Fall semester with further details about the Commencement Ceremony.
A reception will be held immediately following each ceremony for all graduates, friends, and families. Additional information will be provided as the Commencement date approaches.

Honors:

To graduate with Honors in a Bachelors Degree Program, students must meet the following requirements:

Have an overall grade-point average of 3.7 or better based on Grayson College hours only;
To graduate Cum Laude, have a GPA of 3.70 - 3.84;
To graduate Magna Cum Laude, have a GPA of 3.85 - 3.99;

To graduate Summa Cum Laude, have a GPA of 4.00; To graduate with Honors in an Associate Degree Program, students must meet the following requirements:

Have an overall grade-point average of 3.7 or better based on Grayson College hours only:
To graduate Cum Laude, have a GPA of 3.70 - 3.84:
To graduate Magna Cum Laude, have a GPA of 3.85 - 3.99; and
Have earned at least 25% of the total required degree plan hours at Grayson College.

To graduate with Honors in a Certificate Program, a student must make a grade of an "A" for all required courses in the Certificate program.

To Request a Replacement Diploma

Go to Parchment and create an account. If you already have a Parchment account, simply log in and go to the next steps. If you are a current Grayson College (GC) student, you may click on the Order a Credential once you sign into your MyGC account.
Log in with your new account and click “Start by adding a school or organization you attended.”
Enter GRAYSON COLLEGE in the search box.
Follow the prompts to complete your Replacement Diploma request. After your order has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation from Parchment. To track your order, log into Parchment and click “Track” under the name of your school.

1. Navigate to the MyViking Student Planner.
2. Select the correct term in the top-right term dropdown. (Summer)
3. From the home dropdown menu, select Graduation Application
Regalia may be picked up at the Admission and Records Office in the Student Affairs Building
Guest Tickets are based on the number of student that sign up to participate for each semester and vary semester to semester. Communication will go out to participants after all numbers have been finalized from the Graduation Application Deadline.
There is no Guarantee that there will be Extra Tickets for each Ceremony. If there are any Extra Tickets Available participants will be notified via email the week of the Ceremony.
Absolutely! Just be sure that your decorations are appropriate and respectful.
Allow up to six business weeks following the end of the completed semester, including mini terms.
You will receive one complimentary diploma per award.
To Request a Replacement Diploma

To check if you're eligible to graduate, you would access your ‘My Degree Audit’ in MyViking. The degree audit would show which courses are in progress toward completion, which courses have been completed, and which courses remain to be completed. Students who are eligible for graduation or are in the process of completing their degree can access the Graduation Application through MyViking under Student Planner. The Graduation Application Deadlines vary by semester and are listed on the graduation webpage. You received an email about the Graduation Exit Survey (GES) because you have
either applied for or are eligible for graduation from Grayson College. The GES is
designed to collect feedback from graduating students in terms of experiences, your
sense of preparedness after graduation, future employment, and more.
