Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony

Will include all Six Pathways, AEL, GED, & Citizenship completions.

All students will be integrated into one of the Six Pathways accordingly.

Graduation Application and Commencement Ceremony RSVP

To apply for graduation and RSVP for the Spring & Summer Commencement Ceremony, please visit MyViking.

The Fall Graduation Application and RSVP will open in MyViking on August 4, 2025 and will close on October 6, 2025. To ensure on time processing and participation in the Graduation Ceremony, please be sure to submit your application through MyViking by October 6, 2025.

If you submitted your application before the deadline. Please stay tuned for upcoming communications regarding the Fall Graduation Ceremony.

Additional details will be shared in the coming months. 

Important Information:

  • Applicants will receive emails throughout the Fall semester with further details about the Commencement Ceremony.
  • A reception will be held immediately following each ceremony for all graduates, friends, and families. Additional information will be provided as the Commencement date approaches.

    1. Navigate to the MyViking Student Planner.
    2. Select the correct term in the top-right term dropdown. (Summer)
    3. From the home dropdown menu, select Graduation Application
    • Diplomas are ready for pick up between August 4th through August 22nd, and then they will be mailed out to the address provided on your Graduation Application. If you would like to have your Diploma mailed to a different address please email Graduation@grayson.edu.
    • August 4th, 2025 – Fall Graduation application & RSVP form available in the Student Planner home drop-down menu.
    • October 6th, 2025 – Final deadline to submit the Fall Graduation application and RSVP form, have the opportunity to order regalia, and participate in the commencement ceremony. Late accommodations will be limited to the availability of extra regalia and will end onNovember 21st, 2025, or while supplies last.
    • December 12th, 2025 – Campus Wide Commencement Day! Tentatively scheduled for 10am and 1pm.
  • Regalia may be picked up at the Admission and Records Office in the Student Affairs Building
  • Guest Tickets are based on the number of student that sign up to participate for each semester and vary semester to semester. Communication will go out to participants after all numbers have been finalized from the Graduation Application Deadline.
  • There is no Guarantee that there will be Extra Tickets for each Ceremony. IF there are any Extra Tickets Available participants will be notified via email the week of the Ceremony.
  • Absolutely! Just be sure that your decorations are appropriate and respectful.
  • Allow up to six business weeks following the end of the completed semester, including mini terms.

  • You will receive one complimentary diploma per award.

  • Fill out the Replacement Diploma form. There is a $25 fee, which can be paid by contacting our Business office at 903-463-8718 or visiting in person at the Student Affairs Building.

    Please attach your receipt from the Business office to the form. If your fee was waived, please attach the email from the Graduation office in place of the receipt.

    Once we receive your form and payment confirmation, we will process your request. Please allow up to two weeks for processing.
