Our Accreditation
Accreditation by SACSCOC is a statement of the institution's continuing commitment to quality and integrity as well as its capacity to provide effective programs and services based on agreed-upon accreditation standards.
Grayson College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. Degree-granting institutions also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Every 10 years, institutions of higher education, including Grayson College, reaffirm their accreditation in the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). SACSCOC is the body for the accreditation of degree-granting higher education institutions in the southern states. Grayson College was successfully Reaffirmed in 2022; the SACSCOC Fifth Year Interim Report will be due in Fall 2027.
Program Accreditation
SACSCOC requires accurate representation of accreditation status to recognized agencies, and Grayson College has numerous programs accredited by various entities, providing evidence of the College’s high educational standards. Many programs are proudly accredited by members of various examining bodies, including boards, agencies, and commissions, that attest to the credibility of Grayson College’s educational offerings.
