Grayson College is committed to providing clear, accurate, and student-centered information to support successful transfer planning. In alignment with Texas Senate Bill 3039 and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) rules, the College ensures transparency in transfer credit evaluation, communication, and student support. Transfer Liaison
Grayson College provides a Transfer Liaison to help students plan their transfer to a four-year college or university.
Admission Requirements for Transfer Students
Grayson College provides comprehensive support services for transfer students, including:
- Academic advising and degree planning
- Transfer pathway guidance
- Career and transfer coaching
- Workshops and transfer events

Transfer Credit Disputes and Resolution Process
Students have the right to request a review of transfer credit decisions.
If you have questions about your transfer evaluation or believe a course should be reconsidered, you may:
- Contact your Academic Advisor or Transfer Liaison to review your evaluation
- Submit a request for review, including supporting documentation (e.g., syllabus, catalog description)
- If unresolved, request escalation in accordance with Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board guidelines

Transfer Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements for Transfer Students
Students planning to transfer to Grayson College should review admission requirements, including:
- Submission of official transcripts from all institutions attended
- Admission application through GC Application
- Meningitis for anyone under 22

Transfer Credit Data and Public Reporting
In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 3039 and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) requirements, Grayson College will publish required transfer credit information, including data related to courses that are not accepted or not applied to specific degree programs, in the format and timeline prescribed by THECB
Interim Data Availability Notice
In accordance with THECB implementation timelines for SB 3039, certain required transfer credit data elements are currently in development as institutions align reporting systems, definitions, and data validation processes. Grayson College will publish all required metrics, including course acceptance and applicability rates, upon receipt of finalized guidance and validated institutional data. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
