Hogg Foundation Awards 2025 Robert Lee Sutherland Mini-Grant to Grayson College

Grayson College is proud to announce it has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Robert Lee Sutherland (RLS) Mini-Grant, awarded by the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health. This recognition highlights Grayson’s commitment to supporting student success, resilience and overall well-being in the Texoma region.

The RLS Mini-Grants are designed to support small-scale, high-impact projects that advance mental health, resilience and well-being in everyday community settings. Grayson College was chosen from among attendees of the 2025 Robert Lee Sutherland Seminar and joins 20 other organizations across Texas in receiving $2,500 in funding.

“This grant is a meaningful step forward for our College and our community,” said Dr. Jeremy McMillen, President of Grayson College. “It not only recognizes the important work we are already doing to foster resilience and student success, but also opens doors for future opportunities to expand our impact with additional grants and partnerships.”

The funding will allow Grayson College to strengthen efforts that align with the Hogg Foundation’s strategic priorities, including:

  • Community-Driven Mental Health and Resilience
  • Research, Education, and Innovation
  • Policy Engagement
  • Strategic Partnerships

By investing in these areas, the College reaffirms its mission to create a supportive environment where students can thrive academically, socially and emotionally, ultimately contributing to a stronger workforce and healthier communities.
