Dr. Logan Maxwell named VP of Student Services

Dr. Logan Maxwell has been named the Vice President of Student Services at Grayson College. She has been serving Grayson College as the Director of Success Initiatives since 2022. 

She holds a Doctorate of Education from Grand Canyon University and a Masters of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Dallas. 

Dr. Maxwell has served Grayson College since 2014 when she started as a math adjunct professor. She then transitioned in 2015 to serve as the College’s Math Hub Coordinator. In the same year, she became the Chair and Professor of Mathematics and Engineering where she helped bolster the mathematics department into what it is today. In 2020, she moved to serve as the Dean of South Campus which is located in Van Alstyne, Texas. Then in 2022, Dr. Maxwell took the position of the Director of Student Success Initiatives where she oversaw the efforts to grow the College overall. 

Dr. Maxwell has had several professional achievements during her time in higher education, including being selected as a Texas Success Center 2023-2024 Leadership Academy Fellow, providing Grayson’s South Campus with a renovated Testing Center, and increasing enrollment in corequisite mathematics courses by 100%.

As Vice President of Student Services, Dr. Maxwell will oversee several key departments that are crucial to supporting student success and well-being. These departments include Success Coaches, Enrollment Management and Promise, Registrar, Financial Aid and Veteran Services, Student Life and Development, Residence Halls, Counseling and Social Services, Support Services/TRIO and Student Conduct and Title IX.
