Miller Barber Viking Challenge supports Grayson College students through Grayson Cares

Grayson College welcomed golfers, sponsors and community supporters to the 2026 Miller Barber Viking Challenge on Oct. 5 for a day of friendly competition in support of student success.
The annual golf tournament brought together community partners and friends of the College for a successful day on the course. Proceeds from the tournament benefit Grayson Cares, an initiative dedicated to helping Grayson College students overcome barriers that could interfere with their ability to continue their education.
“We are incredibly grateful for the businesses, organizations and individuals who continue to support the Miller Barber Viking Challenge,” said Grayson College President Dr. Jeremy McMillen. “Their participation is about much more than a day on the golf course. Through Grayson Cares, their generosity directly supports our students and helps provide the resources they need to stay on track and reach their goals.”
