GlobalWafers supports Grayson College Viking BEST Robotics with $10,000 sponsorship

Grayson College is proud to recognize GlobalWafers for its continued investment in local students and workforce development through a $10,000 sponsorship of the College’s Viking BEST Robotics Hub for the Fall 2026 Byte to Bite season.

The sponsorship will help support students as they put their STEM skills to work through the hands-on BEST Robotics competition. GlobalWafers is also extending the learning beyond the competition by providing participants an opportunity to tour its facility during Game Day activities on November 13–14. The visit will give students firsthand exposure to the semiconductor industry and introduce them to career opportunities available right here in the region.

Grayson College values strong community and industry partnerships like GlobalWafers that connect education with real-world opportunities. These collaborations provide students with meaningful experiences while helping build a skilled workforce to support the continued growth of North Texas.
