Dental CE Class Course Cancellation Policies

  • The Health Sciences Department at Grayson College will only issue full refunds if you request to withdraw in writing from a class 7 days prior to the class starting.
    • Withdrawals done within one week of the start of class will be at a reduced rate of up to 50% depending on the enrollment minimums in the course being met and refunds are at the discretion of the Dean of Health Sciences.
  • Failure to comply with any program admission requirement does not entitle you to a refund.
  • There are no refunds given after a course has begun.
  • Requests for a refund and/or withdrawal from a course must be made via writing and can take up to 2 weeks to process. Please email: dental@grayson.edu with your withdrawal request.
  • Requests to transfer your registration from one course meeting date to a future meeting date can be made by emailing: dental@grayson.edu.
  • Please note that this request must be made prior to the original date you registered Course transfers are approved at the discretion of the Health Sciences Department. If we do not have another upcoming like course for you to transfer to, you will need to be refunded.
  • If a class is cancelled, you will be sent an email with instructions to request a refund or have your tuition balance applied to another course in the immediate future.

Courses with low enrollment prior to the start date may be cancelled. Students will be notified by their email if a class they are enrolled in has been cancelled. If a class is canceled, you will typically be given the option to receive a refund or transfer your registration to a later course date. A refund is automatically processed but can take up to 2 weeks to be processed depending on your method of payment.

Certificates, Reprints, and Record Requests

Certificates for recently completed programs usually go out by email within two weeks of course completion. If it has been two weeks and you have not received your certificate, please check your spam folder, then reach out to dental@grayson.edu, if you cannot find it.

You can request a reprint of your continuing education certificate through a Health Sciences Records Request. Please fill out, sign, and email your request dental@grayson.edu along with a photo of your driver's license/state ID. We recommend covering/blocking your ID number before emailing to us.

The Health Sciences Dental CE program is required to keep records for up to two years; certificate reprints are available if digital records are on file.

Room Changes and Rescheduling

  • If a class is rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances either the instructor or staff will email the student.
