Commercial Truck Driving (CDL)

Description

Are you ready to kickstart a high-demand career by obtaining your Class A Commercial Truck Driving License (CDL)? Join our intensive 4-week truck driving course and take the first step towards a promising future in the industry.

Enrollment is open for CVOP 1013 (150 hours) and CVOP 1005 (50 hours). Throughout the CDL course, you will engage in hands-on training, mastering basic and advanced skill drills, and practicing safe operating procedures. You'll also develop fundamental shifting and backing skills and become proficient in general truck driving per the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.

To enroll in this program, you must meet specific prerequisites:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Possess a valid standard Texas driver's license
• Present a valid passport or social security card for Department of Public Safety ID verification
• Have a clean driving record and no outstanding judgements or unpaid tickets
• Pass the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) physical exam
