CDL Permit Prep Only

Description

The CWL's permit preparation course provides the preparation portion of the Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program. This course alone does not result in full training for, or licensure for a CDL; in order to receive your CDL through our program, you must take this course in conjuncture with CVOP 1013 or another approved course option. All courses operate Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm in our  Public Safety and Logistics Building, room 1011. Unless otherwise stated on the individual listing, this schedule applies.

Requirements

To enroll in this program, you must meet specific prerequisites:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Possess a valid Texas driver's license
• Present a valid passport or social security card for Department of Public Safety ID verification
• Have a clean driving record and no outstanding judgements
• Pass the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) physical exam.
• Apply for prequalification. Once we have received your information you will be sent a confirmation email which will enable you to register and pay for your course.
