Grayson College full time employees have access to a variety of medical and optional benefits through Employee Retirement System (ERS):

Retirement Plans

Most full time employees will be enrolled in a pension plan through Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS). Faculty and some administrative roles may choose ORP instead of TRS.

Other Benefits

  • Employee Assistance Program - Counseling, legal services well-coaching, and safe ride services for employees, spouses, dependents, and household members.  
  • Pet Insurance - Pet insurance reimburses you for the cost of accidents and illnesses throughout your pet's life. 
  • Employee/Dependent Scholarships - Free tuition for full time employees and their covered dependents for classes taken at Grayson College after 90 days of employment.  
  • Fitness Center - Workout room with free weights and circuit training equipment, elliptical machines, treadmills, and bikes available for use by employees for free during operating hours.
