New Faculty Onboarding

The Teaching and Learning Department of Grayson College offers various services to new faculty members as a part of the onboarding process. In order to facilitate the development of new faculty Canvas environments and to ensure that all new instructors are familiar with the Canvas Learning Management System, T&L can provide the following:

Growing with Canvas (Canvas Course): This is a short Canvas tutorial course that all faculty are enrolled in. It provides a solid backgrounds in the basics of course creation, module design, and structure requirements specific to Grayson College

Schedule Canvas Basics Tour: Select this link to schedule a live one-hour Zoom introduction to Grayson College Canvas.

Online Social Presence Presented by StarlinkAlso for both new and existing faculty members we highly encourage your participation in the Online Social Presence training provided by StarLink. You will need to create an account. Upon completion of the class you will receive 5 hours of Continuing Education credit.
