Description

This 150-hour course covers commercial truck driving instruction and practice, and culminates in the Class A CDL test. To take this course you must have an active CDL permit that has been certified ELDT (Entry-Level Driver Training) by an eligible training provider. There are three ways to obtain this:

  1. Enroll in CVOP 1005, Truck Driving CDL Permit Review, and obtain your CDL permit. (This class is included in Grayson’s full Commercial Truck Driving Program.)
  2. Obtain a CDL permit on your own, then enroll in the one-day Truck Driving CDL Permit Review to receive ELDT certification. This course also covers HazMat, making you eligible to test for that endorsement as well.
  3. Have an active CDL permit with an ELDT sign-off from another eligible training provider.

For more information on this, please email us with your questions.

All courses operate Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm in our West Campus Public Safety and Logistics Building, Room 1011 Unless otherwise stated on the individual listing, this schedule applies.
