Description
This 150-hour course covers commercial truck driving instruction and practice, and culminates in the Class A CDL test. To take this course you must have an active CDL permit that has been certified ELDT (Entry-Level Driver Training) by an eligible training provider. There are three ways to obtain this:
- Enroll in CVOP 1005, Truck Driving CDL Permit Review, and obtain your CDL permit. (This class is included in Grayson’s full Commercial Truck Driving Program.)
- Obtain a CDL permit on your own, then enroll in the one-day Truck Driving CDL Permit Review to receive ELDT certification. This course also covers HazMat, making you eligible to test for that endorsement as well.
- Have an active CDL permit with an ELDT sign-off from another eligible training provider.
For more information on this, please email us with your questions.
All courses operate Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm in our West Campus Public Safety and Logistics Building, Room 1011 Unless otherwise stated on the individual listing, this schedule applies.
