Institutional Review Board (IRB)
The purpose of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) shall be to ensure that all research using the College District as a source is approved by the Institutional Review Committee prior to conducting the research. Researchers shall submit the IRB application packet directly to the office of the vice president of instruction for approval by the IRB.
Membership for the IRB Committee shall consist of the vice president of instruction and four members (three faculty and one staff). Appointment shall be made by the College President or designee on an annual basis, usually in August.
