Assessment Information and Resources
Assessment refers to the process of evaluating and measuring student learning or services operations, program effectiveness, and institutional performance to ensure ongoing quality improvement and compliance with accreditation standards.
Grayson College identifies expected outcomes, assesses the extent to which it achieves these outcomes, and provides evidence of seeking improvement based on analysis of the results for each of its educational programs and support units.
These assessment practices are overseen through a college-wide institutional effectiveness process governed by Board Policy, Section A-F Institutional Effectiveness and Section A-FA, Institutional Effectiveness: Performance and Institution Reports. This work is supervised by the Director of Strategic Planning and Assessment, under the direction of the Vice President of Instruction, in conjunction with the Instructional Services Assessment Committee, which includes representatives from all College District instructional divisions.
