Enrollment options for classes include preparation for mastery of the Commercial Drivers License written examination (CVOP 1005) and operating a tractor-trailer combination to master the Skills Test examination (CVOP 1013). We are also offering a HazMat preparation course with the required ELDT training to further enhance your opportunities (EPCT 2004).
Grayson now offers: ELDT TRAINING (required for all new CDL applicants or endorsement additions)
- ELDT Theory (CVOP 1013)
- ELDT Behind The Wheel (Road and Range) (CVOP 1013)
- ELDT HAZ MAT (required to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement (H) (EPCT 2004)
To enroll in this program, you must meet specific prerequisites:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid standard Texas driver's license
- Present a valid passport or social security card for Department of Public Safety ID verification
- Have a clean driving record and no outstanding judgements or unpaid tickets
- Be able to pass the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) physical exam and drug screen

Apply to CDL. Once you have applied to Grayson College, then you are eligible to reach out for a CDL qualification appointment.
Current Students

Please note: You must be approved prior to being enrolled in classes. Failure to schedule an appointment may cause delays in your enrollment. Classes fill quickly and delays may result in having to wait until the next available class start date.
