Paying for Classes and Support

The mission of Grayson College is simple - Student Success. The Center for Workplace Learning actively and energetically supports this mission by assisting students with the resources they need to persist and complete. 

Your instructor is your first resource for assistance at Grayson College. Beyond your instructor, the staff in the Center for Workplace Learning are available to you. 

Marlene Phillips, the Director for Advising and Outreach, in the CWL administrative office can partner with you to: 

  • Assess your interests and aptitudes
  • Recommend the right educational pathway for you
  • Develop and manage your short and long term educational goals

Students in the Center for Workplace Learning’s Workforce Training programs may be eligible to have tuition costs covered by the Texas Workforce Commission or the Texoma Council of Governments (TCOG).  

Workforce Solutions Texoma

The Texas Workforce Commission’s funding in the Grayson College service area is administered by Workforce Solutions Texoma. There are a number of ways for a student to be found eligible for funding, and we encourage all prospective students to inquire with Workforce Solutions Texoma. Students can learn more about Workforce Solutions Texoma funding options here and can make an appointment for a consultation at one of Workforce Solution Texoma’s offices listed below.

Texoma Council of Governments

Prospective students with no more 125% of poverty level in annual earnings may qualify for educational benefits and other supports through the Community Services Block Grants administered locally by TCOG.  Prospective students who think they may qualify for TCOG administered educational benefits should contact the TCOG casework specialist directly.
