IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGUARDING YOUR STAY AT GRAYSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Students are required to deposit $7500 to Grayson County College PRIOR to enrolling.
This fee is for tuition, books, dorm room, and meals for two semesters.
It is not for purchasing a computer or additional living expenses.

Some things students need to bring or purchase in the U.S.A.
For the Dorm Room:
- Sheets
- Blankets
- Pillows
- Towels
- Snack Foods
- Soap
- Any personal items
- Computer: ( Computers are available for use in the library and computer lab free of charge)
The dorm opens August 20 for Fall Semester 2007.
The dorm opens January 7 for Spring Semester 2008.
If you arrive prior to these dates please call 903-463-8746 to make necessary housing arrangements.
Meal plans are provided for all students living in the dorm.
Students are entitled to 10 meals a week. Meals are not provided on the weekend.
For an additional fee, there is also a 16 meal plan which provides meals through the weekend.
Students are required to live in the dorm at least one semester.
Students moving to apartments will need furniture, kitchen utensils, and etc.
We sometimes have people who donate furniture to the International Students to help them out.
Transportation is provided from the dorm to classes and back.
Buses are available for students living off campus. There is an additional charge for this.
There is a $60 fee for transportation to and from the airport.
Students are NOT allowed to work off campus during their first year.
Students needing work will have to apply for a work permit through our office after completing two semesters.
