Dusty HartDusty Hart is in his ninth year (three as Head Coach, four as assistant, and two as a player) as a part of the perennial power Vikings Baseball Program. Coach Hart has been a major part in 3 NJCAA World Series Appearances, 3 District Championships, 6 Conference Championships, 9 Regional Tournaments, 5 Regional Championship games, and three times been a part of the coaching staff for the Texas-New Mexico All-Star Game. In 6 years, Coach Hart has had 17 players sign professional contracts and over 47 players sign with NCAA Division 1 Schools including Jordan Walden – Anaheim Angels, Andy Laroche - Los Angelos Dodgers, Cameron Blair - 2 time 1st Team All-American Texas Tech and Golden Spikes nominee, and Dave Maroul - College World Series MVP @ University of Texas.
Coach Hart graduated from the University of Texas Pan-American and Grayson County College where he played Shortstop and Third Base. He is one of the original members in the second era of the Vikings Baseball Program, which was resurrected in 1996. After graduating, Coach Hart spent one year as the Volunteer Assistant coach at Texas Pan-American before coming home to Grayson. Coach Hart is originally from Lubbock, TX where he played for legendary coach Bobby Moegle at Lubbock Monterey High School. He played shortstop for the 1996 Class 5A State Championship Team.
Coach Hart is married to Misty Hart who is a Dental Hygienist for Texoma
Dental Center in Sherman. They have one son, Braydon 3.

Patrick RaffertyPat Rafferty is in his third year as Head Coach of the Vikings Basketball squad. Prior to coming to GCC, Rafferty has been an Assistant Coach under college basketball legend and University of Louisville Cardinal Head Coach Denny Crum. Prior to joining to the University of Louisville staff, Coach Rafferty was the Head Coach at Midland College for five seasons where he compiled a 97-50 record and the Western Junior College Athletic Conference Championship in 1998.
Coach Rafferty is a native of Buffalo, Wyoming where he played for his father Jack and earned All-State honors.
Rafferty began coaching in 1981 as an assistant at Eastern Montana College, his alma mater. In 1983, Rafferty became an Assistant at Nothern Arizona University where he was recruiting coordinator for the next two years. Following a year as assistant head coach at the University of Idaho, Rafferty earned the head coaching spot at Casper (Wyoming) College. At Casper, he compiled a 47-23 record in two seasons. His 1987-88 team posted a 30-8 record, won the Wyoming Junior College Athletic Conference Championship, sub-regional and regional titles, and finished sixth in the NJCAA National Championship in Hutchinson, Kansas. He earned Region IX Coach of the Year honors that season. He returned to Nothern Arizona as head coach in 1988 which ranked him at the time as the nation's youngest NCAA Division I head coach. Coach Rafferty also served as a scout for the Minnesota Timberwolves 1990-1992 before becoming assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Drake University for two seasons.

Tommy CollinsHE'S BACK! After a brief retirement from coaching, Tommy Collins has returned to the sidelines. The 32-year coaching veteran has assumed the reigns of the tradition rich Lady Viking Basketball Program.
Coach Collins, known throughout Texas Junior Colleges as a "Defensive Wizard", has pledged to return the Lady Viking Program to championship status. The two-time "Coach of the Year" of the West Texas Junior College Conference has led two different junior college teams to the play-offs. In fact, Coach Collins' teams have qualified for the play-offs in 10 of his 11 junior college seasons, including 3 trips to the region 5 title game.
The 20 year college veteran has coached at every level from junior high, junior varsity, varsity, junior college, NAIA, NCAA Div. 2, NCAA Div.1 and internationally in 2 foreign countries. He strongly believes this wealth of experience and the tremendous winning tradition of Lady Viking Basketball ( 8 Conference Championships and 3 National Tournament appearances) will quickly move GCC back into national prominence.
The Rapid City, South Dakota native and his wife Bev have two daughters; Stacie Collins-Campbell and Stephanie Collins-Barker. They are also blessed with five grandchildren: Cole Collins-Campbell 14, Shea Riley Campbell 11, Luke Collins-Campbell 3, Reid Collins-Barker 6 and Yates Collins-Barker 4.
Coach Collins' brothers are both in coaching, David, the 1st base coach with the Colorado Rockies Baseball Team and Cary , the Head Basketball Coach of the very successful LaGrange High School program in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Coach Collins' sister is a school psychologist in Fresno, California.

Theresa BarnettTheresa Barnett has nineteen years of coaching experience and has been the Head Coach of the Lady Vikings Volleyball Program for 5 years. Coach Barnett is a graduate of Honey Grove High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree in 1987 from East Texas Baptist University and her Master's Degree in 2000 from Texas A&M University at Commerce
After coaching five years in public schools in McKinney and Mesquite, Coach Barnett began coaching at the college level at Cisco Junior College. She has also coached at Dallas Baptist University, Schreiner College, Kilgore Junior College, and Texas A&M University at Commerce.
Due to the elimination of the volleyball program, Coach Barnett will be taking over as head softball coach for the 2006-2007 season.
In August Coach Barnett was named the Athletic Director at GCC.
