In order to satisfy GCC's admission
requirements, the following materials must be submitted to the Admissions
Office. GCC encourages students to complete the admissions process prior
to the day of registration.
1. An application for admission. Proof of residency
is required on the application.
2. An official transcript from high school
(for students that graduated) -OR - G.E.D. scores (for students without high
school diplomas) -OR - Official transcripts from all previously attended
colleges.
Students who do not meet the above requirements and are 18 years of age
or older, or are graduates of non-accredited high schools may be admitted
on Individual Approval. Contact the Admissions Office for details.
International students must contact International Student Advisor Kathy
Pearce (903.463.8746) regarding admission requirements to Grayson County
College. Necessary paperwork should be completed prior to the student's arrival
on campus.
NOTES: Official GCC transcripts will be withheld from students who do not
complete admission requirements. Those students will not be allowed to re-enroll
at GCC until admission requirements are met.
Federal legislation requires students entering college who do not have a
high school diploma or G.E.D., to take and pass the Wonderlic test in order
to be eligible for financial aid.

during the previous 12 months. Many will be eligible for online registration.)

Education), community interest, workforce development, and other similar
programs is available in the back of this publication. The registration process
for these courses is quick and simple! Course dates begin and end throughout
the semester.
(Seeking Dual Credit /Concurrent
Enrollment)
Students wishing to be concurrently enrolled in high school and GCC should
contact the Admissions Office prior to enrollment. Many courses are offered
on area high school campuses. Eligible students may also enroll for courses
taught at one of the GCC campuses or centers.

through its website and Campus Connect.
