Student Qualifications for Receiving Tech Prep Credit

1.        Take a Tech Prep course in high school and receive a B or better

2.        Graduate high school and qualify to enter GCC or NCTC

3.        Send an official copy of your high school transcript to the Texoma Tech Prep office.

4.        Complete a “Petition for Credit” available in the Texoma Tech Prep office

5.        Earn 6 hours of non-developmental college credit:

                      3 during high school through dual credit, qualifying AP or CLEP examination scores

                      3 by attending GCC or NCTC within 24 months of graduation

6.       Declare a Technical Major at GCC or NCTC
