Mission
The mission of the Grayson College Writing Center is to provide
assistance to students regarding the fundamental language and
execution skills necessary for writing a quality essay across the
curriculum.
A Full Service Writing Center
- One-on-one face-to-face sessions to review a work for
assignment
- Full service access to writing resources
What we can do for you
A trained facilitator will review and assist with the needs
within your writing assignment. Students should inform facilitator
of areas of concern. These areas could range in need from
interpretation of an assignment to how to conclude an essay. Using
the text-book, the LB Brief and instructor assignments,
facilitators will categorize and simplify services offered by
the Writing Center, and respond to 3 areas of need per ½ hour
session. Students are allowed two ½ hour sessions per paper as
schedules permit.
