To qualify for the Dan O’Dea Memorial Scholarship, you must be a music major enrolled full-time, with a GPA of at least 2.5. Also, you must have graduated high school in Grayson County. Preference is given to students studying classical piano, woodwind, or stringed instruments.
For all of the other music scholarships, you must be enrolled at least half-time, and have a GPA of at least 2.5. These awards are available to musicians of any instrument or voice type, and regardless of major.
Note: in addition to requirements and restrictions made by the GC Music Program regarding scholarships, there may be additional requirements made by other entities such as the Financial Aid Office and/or the GC Foundation Office. Contact these offices for more details.
