Testing Center

Located in the Learning Assistance Center, the Testing Center provides services to meet a wide range of needs. In conjunction with Counseling Services, students are assessed in basic skills for planning successful academic programs. As a support to classroom instruction, students have access to testing services for class make-ups, telecourses, certification exams, and advanced placement (CLEP). Testing services are extended to the community through the periodic administration of the TASP and ACT (on published dates).

Exam Types and Schedule

GED: Given on Tuesdays. Call (903)463-8724 for more information.
Make-up Exams: Given from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; from l:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesdays; from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Fridays.
Pre-TASP: Given at 9:00 A.M., 1:00 P.M., and 5:00 P.M. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Telecourses: Given from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; from l:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesdays; from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Fridays.

Fee: Regular Registration $26.00
Each schduled test date and site has a limited number of seats. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Test registratio form must be postmarked no later than the registration deadline listed. Late and emergency registrations carry an additional fee. TASP registration bulletins are available in campus offices. Grayson County Colleg is a testing site, but registration must be mailed to the testing agency:
