What is a learning object?
The GCC Library defines learning objects as instructional modules that are publicly available, limited in scope, capable of being integrated into diverse curricula, and generally appealing to a variety of learners. A fundamental requirement of our learning objects will be structured activities that engage the end user in our online databases, thereby increasing awareness and utilization of this rich resource.
