Established in 2001 by Gerald & Linda Hope in memory
of Matt Hoffman, who was planning to go into counseling. Matt had a
heart for \"the average person…someone who isn't necessarily in the
top 10% of their class academically, but who is working hard to
complete his/her education and deserves a break.\" Since Matt
himself was a single parent who was struggling to make ends meet,
this scholarship is given with consideration for students in
similar circumstances. |
