established in June, 2000 by Mrs. Thelma B. Maresh of
Houston, TX in honor of her niece and her husband, Dorothy Marie
& Gus Green of Whitesboro, TX. Ms. Maresh had a deep admiration
for Gus Green and his missionary work. This "Valhalla" (Norse
mythological term for 'heaven' ~ or 'a heavenly state of being')
provides multiple full-tuition scholarships to assist a Grayson
County College students with their educational
expenses. |
