Get a JUMP on a college education!

The Dual/Concurrent Enrollment Program is the result of an
agreement between participating high school districts and Grayson
College. GC's Dual/Concurrent Enrollment Program is a great way for
high school juniors and seniors to get a head start on their
college education. GC works with area high schools to offer courses
for high school juniors and seniors who desire to complete college
credit while in high school. The course may be taught at the high
school during the school day, by internet, through video
conferencing on-site at the high school, or at one of the GC
campuses.
Who Qualifies for Dual/Concurrent Enrollment?
Dual/Concurrent Enrollment is available to eligible JUNIORS or
SENIORS who obtain both parent and school written
permission. Other exemptions may apply. Students wishing to
enroll in dual credit or concurrent classes at GC should contact
their high school counselor!
Dual credit courses from GC transfer to all public colleges and
universities in Texas. Some Texas institutions may limit the number
of dual credit courses they accept to five courses, but most do not
have hard limits. It is very important to check with colleges and
universities that you plan to attend to determine in advance their
policies for accepting dual credit courses. Many students have
found that dual credit courses may also transfer to out of state
colleges and universities, both public and private; however, GC can
only guarantee dual credit transfer to Texas institutions under the
jurisdiction of THECB. We urge all dual credit students and the
parents of dual credit students to check with the senior (transfer)
institution in advance to assure a smooth transition. Click here

universities. The Texas Common Course
Numbering System is a voluntary, co-operative effort among
Texas community colleges and universities to facilitate transfer of
freshman- and sophomore-level general academic coursework.
