Services We Provide

The center provides needs assessment consultation (including job profiling and skills assessment) and learning-based solutions to overcome the problems that hinder organization or individual performance.  Trainees can take a course to gain a skill, or earn a certificate or degree.  Many of the programs also prepare individuals for professional licensure exams.  Many also offer continuing education unit (CEU) credit.

Partnership

The CWL is a non-profit partnership between Grayson County College, Texas A&M-Commerce, Workforce Texoma and economic development organizations.  The collaboration between education, business/industry, workforce, and economic development allows the center to leverage the resources of the partners to more effectively deliver workforce training and professional development.  The mission of the Center is to be a gathering place where educators, private industry, and government in the Texoma region can come work together to create innovative workplace learning solutions to improve business competitiveness, create job opportunities, and enhance the economic vitality of the region.

Conference Center

The Conference Center at CWL is a 200-seat, multi-media training facility that is available for specific seminars, corporate training, and special events in exonomic and workforce training.  It will accommodate the specific needs of area business and industry and can be configured to facilitat most applications.  Contact the CWL with your specific requirements and requests.  The Conference Center at the CWL could be the solution to your business, industry, or special events.
