In the CADD Technology department we strive to teach not only the inner workings of Computer Aided Drafting, but also the skills to help you get a terrific paying job. Over 85% of our Graduates get a job in the Drafting field. (100% of Graduates in the '97-'98 year were working within a few weeks of Graduation) Many of our students have part or full time jobs even before completing graduation!

The CADD Technology Department is always changing and updating, we strive to offer students the best education in CADD here at Grayson County College. The CADD Technology program is currently using AutoCAD R14, with classes available using the solid modeling program, Mechanical Desktop, from Autodesk for use with AutoCAD R14. We even have cross-over classes in CAD/CAM and CNC programming, offered through the Machining Technology Program.

We are also proud to announce the implementation of PRO-E classes in the fall semester. Classes will be available for Credit or through Continuing Education. If you are interested contact borend@grayson.edu for upcoming classes.
