GCC contributing to student success
Excerpt fron Student's letter to GCC
"I feel like I have worked my butt off to get from where I was three years ago. I never actually knew I would go to college after I graduated. I wasn’t sure where I would be. In the last few years, I have found my calling in life. I am going to school to become a special education teacher. My aunt works in the life skills room at Denison High School, and when I moved to Denison my junior year I just fell in love with the kids. That’s when I knew I needed to go to college, and my major wasn’t a question. By just receiving this (GCC) scholarship it will help me one step further in becoming a teacher and helping all those kids".
