GCC does not participate in the summer loan program for Standard Programs. Students receiving Stafford loan(s) must complete entrance counseling prior to their first disbursement and exit counseling prior to their 2nd disbursement. According to Title IV Regulations, first time borrowers cannot receive their first loan disbursement before the 30th class day.

Students in a one year certificate program may receive Title IV Aid equivalent for a one year award and the overall aid will be disbursed in three payment periods. Students receiving Stafford loan(s) must complete entrance counseling before their first disbursement and exit counseling before their 2nd disbursement. According to Title IV Regulations, first time borrowers cannot receive their first loan disbursement before the 30th class day.
