GCC does not participate in the summer loan program for Standard Programs. Students receiving Stafford loan(s) must complete entrance counseling prior to their first disbursement and exit counseling prior to their 2nd disbursement. According to Title IV Regulations, first time borrowers cannot receive their first loan disbursement before the 30th class day.

Students in a one year certificate program will receive their loan disbursements in two disbursements – one in fall & one in spring. Loan only students will need to save a portion of their fall and spring disbursements to pay for their summer tuition/fees and book charges. Students receiving Stafford loan(s) must complete entrance counseling before their first disbursement and exit counseling before their 2nd disbursement.
