Pathways To Success

"The support you need to accomplish your goals"

Pathways to Success provides support and assistance to students pursuing technical majors.

Financial assistance is available for childcare, textbooks, and transportation

Students who can qualify are: Single Parents, Displaced Homemakers, Students with Disabilities, Economically Disadvantaged Students; Students Preparing for Non-Traditional Fields; and Students with Limited English Proficiency.

Eligibility Requirements for Assistance:

  • Enroll in a technical major with a current GPA above 2.0
  • Qualify for Pell Grant
  • Complete the Assistance Application and provide all requested documentation.

To qualify for assistance, students must be pursuing a technical AAS degree or related certificate. Other support services available are: career exploration opportunities, job skill workshops and referrals to other community resources.

Non-traditional jobs are those in which a particular sex constitutes less than 25% of the workers currently employed in that field.

A displaced homemaker is anyone whose identity has been that of a homemaker but is now changing due to a major life change such as separation, divorce, disablement of spouse, death of a spouse, or discontinuance of public assistance or financial support from a relative.
